My email to the people at Beer Nuts:

Hi,

I live in San Francisco. I love Beer Nuts and Beer Cashews.

However, sitting in front of me right now is a can of Beer Nuts which I just opened. And they are burnt. Again.

One other time within the last year I got some burnt ones. Now, they aren't like pieces of charcoal, they're just slightly burnt, but that burnt flavor kills the salty flavor, the sweet flavor and the peanut flavor.

Is there any way I could get a coupon for a free Beer Nuts can? Or a credit for one on this site?

It's one of the "Brand New Look" cans. Date on the bottom is 12 May 04. That little check out code has the number 70842 00008. I don't know if any of that helps.

Let me know,

Thanks,

Ted

PS Oh by the way, I have been a huge fan of Beer Nuts since I was about 10 or 11 years old (I'm 32 now).

I remember my first experience. I was sleeping over at my friend Rob Kim's house and we were going to get some snacks and stuff to eat while we watched The Dukes of Hazzard and Dallas (I think). And Rob was like, "oh let's get some Beer Nuts!" And I had this moment of uncomfortable panic -- I knew we were not supposed to drink beer. So, I was like, ".... uh... what?" "Beer Nuts, they're great." "Well, ahem, is there, umm, beer in them?" "No, I think they just go good with beer or something..." Relief.

Then, as you know, with so many, we have our first Beer Nut and we are hooked. It's that dam- salty sweet flavor. It's gold, Jerry, gold!

Check out Beer Nuts' very cool reply!

For more fun...

This guy's site tells us what types of Beer Nuts go best with what types of beers. On another page we get a neat bio of sorts of Beer Nuts.

And there is always beer-nuts.com.
