Late Nov/Early Dec 2000: Hello! I'm sitting here watching TV (clearly) and I just saw Colleen Haskell (from TV's Survivor and tedstrong.com's Person of the Week) in a commercial for Blistex!

I saw it with my sister, who said that Colleen was cooler and more attractive all island-grunged up. I think I agree.

NEWSFLASH -- September 29, 2000! 'Survivor' Castaway Colleen Lands Movie Role!!

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) -

CBS television castaway Colleen Haskell, widely regarded as the 'cutest' of the 16 original 'Survivor' contestants, has become the first to land a role in a feature film.

Haskell, 24, a student at Miami Advertising School in Miami Beach, Fla., will play the love interest of comic actor Rob Schneider in the upcoming Columbia Pictures film 'Animal,' the studio announced Thursday.

NEWSFLASH -- Late August 2000! SURVIVOR COLLEEN SIGNS WITH ICM!!

The Survivor castaways continue to cash in. Colleen Haskell, the gamine sex kitten who may or may not have made whoopee with Pagong tribemate Greg, signed on Monday with agent Toni Howard of ICM.

Although the 23-year-old student reportedly turned down an offer to pose nude for Playboy, she's apparently open to other opportunities. One insider speculates that Colleen could either end up hosting other reality shows, or even "go the Jenny McCarthy route" -- presumably minus the failed sitcom and Playboy spread.

At any rate, she's already working those industry connections. She joined some other Survivor cast members over the weekend at The Whiskey on the Sunset Strip, where they happened to run into man-about-town Ben Affleck. Spies report that Affleck flirted furiously with the erstwhile castaway, although she downplayed the incident when asked about it later. She probably had more privacy amid the CBS camera crews on Pulau Tiga.
