Royce D. Applegate 1939 - 2003

Royce D. Applegate was born on Christmas day, December 25, 1939, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He died on New Year's Day, January 1, 2003, in Hollywood Hills, California, in a house fire.

As of January 3, 2003, investigators were searching for clues as to the cause of the New Year's Day fire, which destroyed his three-story home. Two firemen received second and third degree burns while trying to put out the blaze.

Royce graduated from Midwest City High School in Midwest City. He was divorced from wife, Norma, in 1969. They had one child together, Scott D. Applegate.
